> MWT cells. Our monocrystalline Metal Wrap-Through cells have no bus bars and therefore less shadow losses. These advanced back-contact cells both have electrical contacts at the bottom of the cell.
> Flexfoil interconnection. A special copper foil connects the cells in series. This makes the electrical resistance a factor of 6 lower than a module in which standard "tabs" are used.

> Higher light coupling. Structured, ultra-clear glass with a durable anti-reflection coating ensures a higher yield, even with a low sun.
> Lower NOCT. The copper foil and the glass plate on the back conduct the heat better to the air, so that the module stays cooler and performs better.
Very long service life & permanently high yield
> Glass-Glass construction. In conventional panels, the rear consists of a plastic film. These films allow water vapor to pass through and this leads to oxidation and gradual degradation. Thanks to the use of 2 mm glass on the front and back and a UV-stable encapsulant, BLACK GLASS has a permanently high yield.
> Voltage free. In a standard solar panel, the cells and cell connections are subjected to heavy mechanical stress in the wind. This can lead to cell rupture, causing the panel to stop working. With glass-glass modules, one glass plate undergoes stretching forces and the other tensile forces - however, the cells lie in a neutral stress plane. As a result - and due to the better distribution of force via the copper foil - the chance of cell breakage is many times smaller.
